triops photos

here are some photos of the latest group of triops. click for high-rez versions.

you can see the triops third eye pretty clearly here - look for the pale blob just above and between the two obvious eyes.

i used a macro lens for the last two pictures, hence the very narrow depth of field.

they're fully grown at this point, about two inches long in this case.
